Who here loves The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart?

If you love it so much, why don't you marry it?

show ever !
Why can't Jon Stewart be a moderator of a debate? I think it takes a comedian to cut through the bullshit doubletalk that infects politics.

The sad thing is that this smart-assed little fake news show does a better job of deconstructing the news than does any of the U.S. networks, be they broadcast or cable.
Stewart for President!
It's good, but Jon Stewert isn't that funny in my opinion. The true heart of the show is Colbert and of course Black.

Oh buddy, The Daily Show is great! Mo Rocca came to speak at my campus last semester and it was hilarious. They deserve those two emmies.

I'd love it if Jon Stewart could moderate a debate or at least get Bushie on the show. Unfortunately, his viewership isn't exactly what I'd call unbiased and I can't imagine G-Duh-Bya being that willing to stand in front of a hostile audience. Of course, we can always hope.

Well, I dunno, I mean, the show makes fun of Democrats and Republicans alike, which is one reason why I love it. It doesn't matter what your party or beliefs are, there is something there for everyone. In fact, if Bush appeared on that show I would be even more ready to vote for him. Simply because he was on the Daily Show.

He does 'hush' them down when they start to get too smug in an interview. He just wants an honest discussion, but then his show wouldn't be as funny...
I love Jon, but I think moderating a debate might be over his head. He even jokes about what a wuss he was to Kerry. But with people that aren't as 'large' he does a great job of really pressing them, and since he's a nice guy and a comedian it's not as adversarial as some other shows. It's nice. I dig it.

Daily show is perhaps the most intelligent show covering the news.
Say it with humor. Fools are useful that way; the fool can say what the mighty and the meek cannot.

Absolutely! The Daily Show is unlike all other news programs, real or fake, because it realizes that the difference between Republican and Democrat is like the difference between the colors eggshell and off-white, and that both are equally as ridiculous.
And I will stab the first person who says that Daily Show was better with Craig Kilborn.

I saw a great ad for it. It showed the entire cast in large type above them it said, "We're not just covering politics. We're holding it down and smothering it." Made me laugh.
