I just benchmarked (using PCmark 2002) a Intel P4 3.2 prescott with a Hitachi 80GB PATA drive and got a HDD score of 1042. Then I benchmarked a Athlon 64 3200+ with a Seagate 120GB SATA drive and got a HDD score of 1081.
These scores are 39 points different, hardly noticeable. Is my PATA drive really good or is my SATA drive really bad?
