So how do people feel about Yusef Islam's plane getting stopped and him getting deported from America? If you haven't heard about this, here's an article:

Personally, I think it's crap to deport someone who raises funds to build schools for girls in Muslim countries... but I'd like to hear some other viewpoints.

Does Stevens now preach extremism? I'd like to know if he does.

I don't see why they deported him. Just because he's muslim doesn't mean that they should deport him.

No no-- he's a well-respected member of the British Islamic community with moderate views. It's pretty insulting that he'd be tossed out.

Maybe he was just expelled because of his clothing and beard. For US officials, well-educated and well-informed as they are, that is reason enough.
