Having seen a lot of fiction in written and film form lately. I was wondering who you think is the most pathos-laden character ever, from any book or movie or any mainstream form of communication/expression/entertainment.

You know my answer is justified.

ALL OF MANKIND IS SCUM... AND BEAUTIFUL!

As an aside, I love my poster that I got with the 2nd DVD. It's a picture of a guy with an assault rifle and the words
"THROW YOUR LIFE AWAY
FOR JUSTICE!"
across the top and bottom. It's my battlecry for paintball.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes but it's pretty crazy and really funny. I really like the part with the original artist and he's singing about how manga artists are the scum of the Earth and should all be killed and then after Excel kills him the strange cosmic being resets everything and says "you can't kill the original artist, Excel."

Possibly.

I used to have issues, but I got tired of that.

Now I have subscriptions.

It gets better, too. Something like episode eight is "rating improvement week". No men. And the whole episode takes place at a public pool. Very funny.

"For the whole episode we'll show nothing but pretty pretty girls! And highlights and shadow effects will be increased by 37%! And there'll be lots of cute pets and animals too!"

I love you, Quack Experiemental Anime.

Dunno. Kenshin is definitely one of the top ones, seeing how he's always lamenting about the lives he took in the past.

Or maybe Tsukasa from .hack://SIGN. He always seems so depressed.

Why what is he going to say about it?

I'm no saying he is most pathos-laden character ever ,but IMO, Peter Parker/Spider-Man from Spider-Man 2 but the most pathos-laden movie character so far this year. Even the protagonist from Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

Oh. Both films casted Kirsten Dunst (didn't realise that until now). It wasn't intentional.
