Metroid Prime or Halo

Which one is better?

My vote goes to Metroid Prime. Halo just lacks varitey in my opinion. Metroid Prime has 80 different enemies, compared to Halo's nine. And the environments in Halo seem only to be big canyons or tight corridors, where Metroid Prime has a dazzling display of places to explore. And the gameplay of Halo is static to the point of tedium. In Halo all you do is run arond and shoot stuff. But in Metroid Prime, you can explore, collect powerups, hunt defenseless animals, and torch space pirates.

Metroid Prime > Halo. Plus, whenever you had to go through a Chozo ghost-infested area one is always on their toes - that was so fun, even if the ghosts were pains in the butt

I've got to go with Metroid Prime, Halo's level design was just so boring. Also as stated above Metroid Prime also had so much variety. Halo's multiplayer was pretty good though.

Halo.

Metroid Prime's graphics are better. And the sound is good too.

But for halo, single player campaign kicks more ass than anything ever in the FPS genre.

Plus, the AI wasn't bad.
and Halo multiplayer is like the game of our generation.
Come on, you know you love it.

I hate the Chozo ruins after Ice Beam collection. I usually run away when the chozo ghosts appear. Those things are ****ing creepy.

Yeah it's pretty creepy, but I still say that Silent Hill takes the cake when it comes to all things creepy.

No offence guys, but I'm a Battlefield 1942/Vietnam / Call of Duty / Other realistic shooting games person.

Halo, on the grounds that Gamecube sucks and so do all of the games on it.

Plus, Halo is just plain better. Better graphics, better gameplay, etc.

Halo, because you can play it with 15 of your closest buddies. Does Metroid Prime even have multiplayer mode?

Metroid Prime trounces Halo in the graphics department. If Halo is supposed to be so realistic, then why doesn't blood splatter of MC's visor? And GameCube is a kickass system and if you are too blinded by arrogance to realize that then you have no right to be arguing in favor of your inferior game.

Granted.

But in Metroid Prime, you can explore, collect powerups, hunt defenseless animals, and torch space pirates.

See, I read that as "run, run, shoot, shoot." Not seeing a difference.

IMHO: Metroid Prime is an amazing FPS, but lack any multiplayer action. Halo is an amzing multiplayer experience, but drags in a FPS sense.

I choose Metroid because I'm a Nintendo man through and through. If I want a big noisy game platform made by Microsoft that can run Linux, I'll buy a PC.

EDIT: I agree, the Chozo ghosts are indeed a bunch of scary motherfkucres.
