Well, are you going to let those damned Mesopotamian bastards dictate your time to you or what?!

The currant system is satisfactory.

that system is inane, and in all honesty, who would want live in a world where the number '10' dictates everything?

I hate the current system of time (What would you call it? Is it base 6?). However, what would you replace it with?

That's too much of a leap. 10 days to a week? And TV programmes are 2 hundredths of a day? There's already a defined second and year, we don't need another system to screw up our clocks.

On the other hand, it would make conversions a lot easier if everyone was on the same time system.

The French already tried to make time somewhat metric, after their 'revolution'.

They had ten months, etc.

I don't think it lasted long.

The current time system is so completely ingrained into aspects of everyday life, that any attempt to convert to a metric system would be too much of a pain in the ass, and would have no real benefits, i.e. too much trouble for what it's worth.
