As of today, i have realised i have no life. i spend too much on online games, and i need a break. Vegas calls.

I haven't spent much time on the forums recently, but i hope there are those who remember me. I just hope i can come back when i get back from all the fun.

Just in case you don't already know, you'll live longest on Blackjack. The dealer's hand is forced into certain moves (as in, hit until they get 14 or 17, depending on the house, then stay). If they use just one or two decks, then you can count easily, if they use five or more, then the laws of probability are more or less unaffected by what he actually does. It's the only game where chances are in your favor if you know all the rules and have some mathematical intuition.
& video slots are rigged. If you're poor enough that you want to try the one-armed bandit, go for a real one. They're rigged, too, but much less exactly.

Things you probably didn't know: NY, NY & Ceasar's Palace give complimentary 12 & 18 year Glenlevit if you ask & you're gambling. If you like Scotch, that will be your favorite drink of all time.
Tip the waitresses per drink, not per run to the back room. It's common courtesy, and they remember better if they're paid.
Cleopatra, one particular slot game, has a "15 free runs with triple payout" bonus round. I made about $200 on that while waiting for someone to get out of the bathroom, by betting low on all 9 rows. It's just luck, and I can't recommend that you try it, but that "all 9 rows" thing means you'll win something damn near every time. It usually doesn't cover the cost of the roll, but it's fun to see all those things light up.
