Skinner, of the Democratic Underground:
"AP ran a picture of a crying 3-year-old girl who allegedly got her Bush/Cheny sign ripped up by Kerry Supporters. Link:

The truth:

Her father, Phil Parlock, has pulled stunts like this three separate times, in 1996, 2000, and now 2004. Each time his stunt was covered in the media.

The alleged "Kerry Supporter" in the photo has a strong family resemblence, and may be Mr. Parlock's son.

Also, Phil Parlock may have faked a gunshot attack on his local Republican Party Headquarters a couple weeks ago.

I know, before you go attacking me and telling me this is a partisan website, I know it is. But, if you click the links I have provided, in them are the facts and the websites they came from. So don't attack me. They are from credible sources and were NOT made up. Trust me on this.

There. Now I put that story to rest. Republicans will do ANYTHING to make Kerry supporters look bad, like ripping up their daughters own sign and blaming it on Kerry supporters. This makes me sick. Doesn't it make anyone else sick?

Sick group of people they are, aren't they?  :headbang:

I credit this story to "Skinner" of the Democratic Underground.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

THIS IS GONNA GO ON FOR FUCKING EVER!!!

It goes both ways, liberals and conservatives are all slimy evil sniveling bastards.

Neither side is better than the other.

When it comes to issues, they're different, but as for just being nice people or lying pricks...they're the same.

American politics seems to be on the level of a fight between elementary schoolkids.

This is just one insignificant event and you make the generalization that republicans have to do this to Kerry. It seems like you're just trying to make republicans look bad by telling everybody about it and complaining. There irresponsible people on both sides, but that doesn't mean that most people are like this. The issues are what really matter, so whoever the Americans generally agree with is the person who will win.

You know, here's the funny thing about those Bush memos - Now if I were an evil scumbag like Karl Rove, I might just forge some documents related to Bush's military service and send them to a news station where they can be publicized and then identified as forgeries, in order to dodge the question of Bush's military service (which has never been answered). Keep in mind, not ONE SINGLE PERSON has ever stepped out and said, "oh yeah, I served with Bush in Alabama, I remember him!"

I agree with Celticadia, both parties have made a sideshow out of modern politics. But the problem now is that politicians are almost restricted to use sound bites to get their point across. And if they say anything too overly long, they get cut off before making the real point.
