I would make thread starters to ban people from the thread

I want it to show the exact start dates again. I was September 11th. I looked distinguished.

I'd have a fact finder with the ability of kicking anyone off the thread when arguing inaccurate information. So if someone continously argues something that is factually wrong, they get the boot from the thread.

Users would have to score above "vegetable" level on an IQ test before logging in...unless of course they're particularly entertaining vegetables. Most aren't.

i would like teh ability to control the forums as uuber admin... failing that, i would suffice with a decent template :P

I would do what many other board do.

If you start a thread, and its content is similar to an existing thread....

Your new thread gets locked, and you get sent to the old one.

Thusly...you get no more endless "Bush V Kerry" threads, or no more endless
"atheism vs creationism." threads.

Saves bandwith and server storage too.

Anybody--on either side--who crosses the line and starts a flame war (which should be taken MUCH more seriously than I think the mods currently do) should be warned once, and then banned if they do it again.

I would give everybody a week long forum ban that coincides with the day they joined. My way of saying happy birthday. Oh, and mods will not be exempt. In fact they would get a whole month.
