How do you feel about Ken Jennings?

I'm sick of him. For awhile I watched and rooted for the challengers, but now I don't care or want to watch while he's on. He sucks all the excitement right out of the game.

He's a little snot, and I can't wait for the 75th game he plays! He's going to lose! Oh, I can't wait for that day! of course, hopefully it will be sooner than that. ^_^ It's cool to see people win, but I'm tired of seeing him on EVERYDAY.

I am in awe. I'm no slouch in trivia games, but the merciless beatdowns this guy has been handing out to anyone and everyone are incredible. Personally, I'm hoping that eventually he gets to a point where he decides to retire unbeaten. that's the way to go out.

Dude, I totally think I could beat the guy. Of the shows I've watched there were about 20 or so where I knew at least as many as he answered. I'm a trivial bucket, I remember everything I hear so it's easy for me. I wanna play him and see how I'd do.

PS. I'm not being conceted, I actually think I could.

Having never been a Jeopardy fan at all, I have to say hearing the leak that his winning streak has come to an end peaked my curiosity for about 2.2 seconds.

The season ended, he didn't lose

Bow before Ken, for he is Lord of the Geeks. There is only one Lord of the Geeks, and he does not share answers.

I vote a large shrine to Ken be erected and the Jenningsist Church be founded as soon as possible

He's a morman, so are the people in Napoleon Dynamite, Mormons are awesome. I don't like their religion but the people are cool!

I HAVE quit watching the show -- I have nothing against him, but it's not exciting if the outcome is a foregone conclusion.

Producers of Jeopardy: Pay the man a staggering bonus to leave, or put him on staff!

(And, how could you be so STUPID, selecting a player who WRITES QUIZ SHOW QUESTIONS for a living?)

Agreed on all of this...you articulated all of my reasons FAR better than I did.

I root for the challengers. It gives Jeopardy a pernamently captivated audience, such as myself. I want to see it when Ken Jennings meets another geek, and looses.
There will, however, be a two week break from him. Starting next week is Jeopardy's Tournament of Champions. As Ken Jennings is still playing, he is ineligible to compete in the tournament.

I don't like him. It's just annoying to watch him spout off trivia like a computer. What really pisses me off is people who say that he's an incredibly intelligent person. Not to say that he isn't bright, but you can't qualify as a genius by knowing a lot of trivia. Ken just has a quick hand and a brain full of useless knowledge.

Yeah sure you can. Try out and see how you do.

Is this with any categories, or do you have some specific ones in mind? I could kick the hell out of Ken Jennings if the questions were right, but most likely the questions wouldn't be right and I would lose. Maybe less painfully than a lot of contestants lose, but I don't think I would stand much of a chance against him unless I got good questions. And a lot of luck.

It scares me that someone would know that much trivia, I don't know why, but it just does.

It's all a conspiracy. Ken has been given the answers after the first couple of times, and purposefully gets some wrong to throw us off his trail. Of course Jeopardy is losing money to him, but they're getting popularity. Once they start losing mon ey off of him, they'll pay him some extra cash, and stop giving him all the answers.

Err... I mean... I'm kind of tired of him.

Heh, I've actually wondered seriously about this. Some of the questions he's missed, I just cannot believe he screwed up. You never know. Another good reason I'm not watching the show anymore. ;-)
