Ive heard so many people from america and some from britain tell me that when they turned to the lord he did answer their prayers (coincidence) Well its never once worked for me..

But when i did turn to satan for help it worked (coincidence)

In all honesty Satan is about as real as Jesus..

Some people find comfort in it well good for them, a long time to go untill this world has a real grip on reality concerning fantasy books as a way to be good when passing on knowledge is surely better from self-expereince.

Of course Satan is as real as Jesus, thats because God created him too. Why would God help someone that he knows is going to turn to his enemy in the future, I know I wouldn't. Just think about where you loyalities are, because I would hate for it to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, when it is too late.

Is that what you think the point of religion is .. to be good! I would have said religion (as oppose to spirituality) is purely there as a tool to manipulate people through fear and guilt,and to allow the justification of many things that would be totally unjustifiable any other way. Why else is there such a link between religion and the state? Surely if someone wants an experience of a God (assuming there is one) or any other kind of entity they don't any kind of book of rules telling them how to do so or any other person to fix it for them to do so.

Exactly mate religion is just a tool for hate and war as ive seen it used all my life- when concerning being good ive heard countless people claim without the bible they cant teach good and wont - they continue to brainswash generation after generation and for what - ? As we all know learning the rights and wrongs is not hard in fact its dead easy once you mature past 15

Did he hell! If anything he made it worse! The following week I couldn't even get it into 3rd gear. It cost me a fortune to repair it.
Surely this proves that God doesn't exist.

I never understood the idea of taking time to pray to an omniscient being. He knows what you want, just get on with working towards it and hope he'll help out.

heres my view:

there is a god, but he doesnt care about stupid little prayers that most people pray about. he also doesnt care about all this organized religion stuff, because he just uses that to get more followers. he just wants everyone to be good and help each other out and follow the 10 commandments (probably).
then again, how can we be sure that some moron didnt just make up the bible from his imagination and trick people into following him? after all, the catholic church lied to people for hundreds of years, and still does, because people are too lazy to examine their faith closely and decide what they truly believe instead of blindly believing whatever their minister or whoever tells them to believe.
whether the bible is real or not, i still think there is an omnipresent being that created everything, but NOT the way thats described in the bible. more like god created science, and used science to create everything else.
