Has anyone been on this website? www.subserviantchicken.com

I've been on it for the last half an hour but i've visited it for ages. At first it seemed fun and i was happy. But now i have suddenly recovered my conscence and am starting to worry about what I'm doing. I feel slightly guilty, and am worried about the man in the picture, and about my self abusing the power. I got angry when someone else interfered. I dont know whether i should continue having fun, or stop my obsession! I dont think its healthy y'know.

Help me, tell me what to do, but try not to get obsessed yourself!

p.s - if you know anything about this 'chicken man', then please tell me. Im finidng the whole concept quite alien still.

I'm sure it's just a script and you don't have anything to worry about in the way of personal mental abuse ;)

Well, I don't know. I said "Thank you. Have a nice life" and the chicken bowed. Pretty good script.

"Thank you" causes him to do that.

It responds to around 70 commands, and the entire thing was pre-recorded. You can see the videos changing sometimes.

I forget the site with the entire list...

"Angry" - made the chicken throw cushions around.

"Tidy" - made the chicken pick up the cushions and put them back on the couch.

"Tidy" - when there are no cushions: just potters about.

Nice bit of programming.

Damn, the things you can do with technology these days. In my day it was all punch cards and overnight runs, and heaven help you if you put a loop in your programme. Little did we realise of the things to come .....

Pah! I remember when 'debugging the system' still referred to pulling dead moths out of the clockwork gears in the difference engine - back then even '10 print "hello world"/20 goto 10' was an alnight run before we got the first output. Kids today...
