What do you think of the band Iron Maiden?
What do you think of the band Iron Maiden. They are my all time favorite band. If you like them, what is your favorite song by them and favorite album? If you don't like them, then why don't you?
Oh yeah, my favorite song is The Trooper and my favorite album is Powerslave.

Favourite song is between The Trooper and the live version of Fear Of The Dark from Donnington. I don't think I can decide my favourite album but the only ones I don't like are the ones with Blaze on vocals.

I actually like all of the singers. They each have their own style. Blaze did pretty good on vocals for Sign of The Cross, Angel and The Gambler (one of my favs), and The Clansman.

The Clansman sounds a lot better when Bruce does it. Just my preference and actually I think Di'Anno was great too.
People must not think much of Iron Maiden, huh?

Well, thats about it for me.
Iron Maiden rules, it sucks that Mtv refuses to put their new record on, because Iron Maiden doesn't sell out to fuckin' Nu Metal, like Metallica did. They're still as pure as they were when bringing out 666 the number of the beast. Dance with dead is really good!

That's strange, I think Blaze was the best vocalist of the three.

I genuinely enjoy them. Not my favorite band, but certainly not the worst. They're generally in my regular rotation.

you couldnt be further from the truth with that statement Pirates.
If anything, Maiden is the original anti-glam band....they have never worn makeup or glittery stage clothes...always jeans/leather and ripped t-shirts with a little studs and leather thrown in for good measure.
Maiden is my alltime favorite band....and it would be difficult at best to pick a favorite song out of all the classics...
today, I would say that Hallowed be thy Name is my fav...tomorrow it might be diffrent.
fav album is a dead heat between Piece of Mind, Powerslave or Number of the Beast....and Blaze sucked.

Yeah, Iron Maiden is not glam rock... Thy look nothing like Kiss.
They are metal and they put on the best concerts ever next to Alice Cooper.
I mean, how can you beat having Eddie walk around being feet tall on stage.
Does anyone other than me really like their first album?
