Church battles to have brothel next door...

Showing that 'love thy neighbout' is more than a pretty phrase, a church will tomorrow attend a local council meeting to protest against an application for a brothel being denied. Under local council by-laws, brothels may not be set up within 100 metres of any school or church, however when an application to set up a brothel on a property neighbouring that of the church was declined, the church objected. Claiming that as Christians they love all their neighbours, the church has vowed to protest against the decision to decline the application. Whilst the church does not support prostitution they claim that having the brothel next door will bring the prostitutes closer to the church's sphere of influence increasingly the liklihood of the church being able to reach out to those they percieve as being most in need of church's help.

*grin* It's always nice to see a piece of news about a church without having anything to do with hatred, homosexuality, or blasphemy. Yay for whatever church that is.

Unless they have some kind of secret agenda... The above news post could just be a clever ploy to lure us in...

First you go visit a whore and right after you can confess your sin; Every church should have a brothel! And a mosque! And a wall where you can curse with "Jesus Christ" and "Goddamn"! And a sculpture school for God-figures! And a bar that's only open on sundays! And a place where you can slander your parents! And a place where you can kill people! And a bank with an open vault! And a place where you can lie all the time! And a place where you can be greedy!
Gotta have SOMETHING to do after leaving church...
