I prefer the PC, simply because it's not such a hassle to buy the correct software.

If I were a moviemaker, I'd go for the Mac. But that's not the case.

If your looking to play games, a pc is less stable but more upgradable and has the majority of the games market in its favour. Pretty much anything else you can use a mac for. Not too good if you want replacement parts tho.

Yeah, if you're going into anything related to graphic design, you want a Mac. But PCs are much easier to find hardware and software for.

I use a PC, but since I'm recording music I'd much rather have an Apple.

Apples are more stable, but PCs have more sortware (to crash, lol)

It's mostly personal preference and what your using it for.

I like to eat Apples. But use them for my computer-y needs? Not so much.

Well, I liek to do photoediting on a PC. But movie and music, I only do on one of the Mac's at school.

I'm a gamer. It has to be PC.

WinXP isn't so bad. At least if a program crashes it doesn't pooch the system so you have to reboot like it did with older Windows versions...and I have had Macs freeze up on me plenty. Decent Macs, too.

On average day I will use a Mac, a PC, FreeBSD and Linux.

Pick the best tool for the job!

I must admit I only use the PC for games though ;)

I use a P4 PC. For gaming and everyday tasks.
But I would love a Mac. Besides everyone knows that PPC is better than x86!

The only advantage I have seen for a Mac is publishing, which my school paper uses Macs for
