Did you check the choices? If you're pro Bush, why not vote that he's like Abe Lincoln, or Ghandi?

...or you just had to get your "whine quota" for today? :p [j/k]

Oh I voted, but these polls always result in a partisan bashing of the President. Says somthing about the people that answer them too. Whether the subject is Kerry, Communism, moveon.org, cheney, your favorite color, or anything under the sun it always comes back to one thing: We hate Bush why won't he go away..boo hoo hoo. It is getting old.

Fair enough. Free speech CAN be a pain when you don't like what people are saying...

I hardly think that is a fair comparison to this poll, where I have presented positive, negative and neutral figures for Bush to be likened to. If these threads happen to be a rallying point for people to badmouth Bush, well, that's just the way it is. Besides, I have seen virtually as many rally and bitch about Kerry...

Woah, woah, woah! Slow down a bit there sparky!
I was just pointing that fact out because I really become annoyed when people act as if the freedom of speech (which, BTW doesn't apply to the NS forums as they are 1: Not affected by U.S. law and, even if they were 2: the 1st amendment only said the government can't wall you away, private companies can do so as they feel) as their reason for saying something.

Let see, what world leader does Bush most resemble. I would have to say Bush 41, has his daddy's nose. What world leader does Kerry most resemble. None, he doesn't resemble a world leader at all, just a UN follower.

Nice...you just equated free speech with treason. I have to say attempting to withhold someone's right to free speech is more treasonous than free speech itself.

I'm curious...why would anyone vote Ghandi? Seriously.

I don't think its fair to compare him with Hitler or Attila, I doubt George would ever try to exterminate a particular group of people (Ashcroft maybe, but not Bush). I think he more resembles...King Charles I. The one who kept defying Parliament and refusing to listen to elected officials. Also, as a bonus, he got his head cut off by angry Brits.

Elected as President despite his opponent having a majority of the votes, got the US into a war through bungled diplomacy and lack of political acumen: Had to vote Abraham Lincoln.

I'd have to say a combination between Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan. Bush is not as conservative as Reagan, but the most conservative president since Reagan. But when it comes to the political game, he plays like Truman. On the national security front, he doesn't follow pre-established rules, but creates them. That's what Truman did. And like Truman, Bush will be rewarded with a second term.
