Yeah, Bush decided to flee his duties to the Air National Guard :sniper: . Reguardless of how you feel about him, Kerry was in Vietnam, and yet no one has come forward and said "I remember serving with George W. Bush in Alabama." Last time I checked, being AWOL during a time of war is treason.

Let's not forget that a group of veterans offered $3'500 to anyone who could attest to the coup leader's service in that Alabama guard unit. And still no one could say they had served with him... out of the 600 to 700 people who were in that guard unit.

No, it's still AWOL. Even if you never come back, it only becomes Desertion. However, Bush was not punished for going AWOL, there is no real evidence he ever did. I guess this matters to some because it is the ONLY thing different between these clowns! Like war? Vote Bush or Kerry! Tired of it? Badnarik! :headbang:

Bush didn't flee they were phasing out the plane he flew at the start of the war and it would have been useless to send him. And he flew one of the most dangerous planes there was to fly.

holy shit, im sick of it being "i dont like bush, so im voting Kerry". If anything is ignorant that is. By the way your supposive war hero Kerry didnt even serve long in Vietnam. He was there for about 6 months and did absolutely nothing, hence the reason most of the guys that knew him at vietnam are not supporting him in this race. They dont like the commercialization he is making out of it. im not even going to get into the gun issue... because that is a complete joke.

OHH yea... Kerry bled out of his ass by the way.. thats the only place he got shot. Its alot more dangerous to fly in the airforce, but apparently some people are too blind to realize that.

Aww, that's cute. It's really hard to pilot an aircraft when you don't show up for duty. Do you really think that just because he (Bush) was trained to fly one kind of aircraft, that he couldn't fly anything else? Please, there were plenty of other aircraft for him to avoid flying.
And he flew one of the most dangerous planes there was to fly.
Yeah, an aircraft in Texas. Real dangerous. The real dangerous planes were in Vietnam, getting shot at.

1) bullshit, he lost his wings for refusing to take a medical exam after he had finished his flight training
2) back up your statement with facts that it was the most dangerous plane

Actually, I'm voting for Kerry because I think that he's the better man for the job. The fact that I don't like Bush is just icing on the cake...
By the way your supposive war hero Kerry didnt even serve long in Vietnam. He was there for about 6 months...
Edit: Okay, I'll give you that one. In that six months he was there...
A. Completed 18 missions in about 48 days, almost all in the Mekong Delta area. :mp5:
B. Reiceved a Silver Star for going beyond the call of duty,
C. Recieved a Bronze Star for saving someones life,
D. We already know about the Purple Hearts...
And it's still six more months than Bush was there.
hence the reason most of the guys that knew him at vietnam are not supporting him in this race.
Most of the people speaking against Kerry never actually served along side him, they were simply in Vietnam too. All the Vets speaking out for Kerry (including, in a way, John McCain) were people that served under his command.

A medical exam that included a drug test. zing. :sniper:

I'd like to hear that too.

Perhaps you could use a little truth?
Under Zumwalt's command, swift boats would aggressively engage the enemy. Zumwalt, who died in 2000, calculated in his autobiography that these men under his command had a 75 percent chance of being killed or wounded during a typical year. (This wasn't just a statistical concern; one of the swift boat sailors was his son, Lieutenant Elmo Zumwalt III. )
BTW, Kerry received his Bronze Star from the above commander.
Your little to no respect attitude does a disservice to "all" who serve their country?
