All these emotions evolved in our ancestors brains because they are beneficial. Greed is an extreme form of looking out for yourself and your family. It's a good thing unless taken so far that you lose sight of the original goal. Hate is useful becuase it is a deterrent against agressors. Desire is simply setting goals, without which you'd wander round aimlessly bumping into things.

Why? If there were free trade the distribution would be irrelevant. The govt is the problem.

No, what about the countries that have nowhere near the resources the bigger countries do? How would they be able to produce enough to equal the imports needed to keep up with industrialized nations?

The question is: is it only certain types of cheese? Is all cheese detremental to the world or are there types which could be harnessed to benefit us all?
Personally i believe that Cheddar may one day prove to hold the secret of eternal life whilst goats cheese is crap.

Indeed, if there wasn't money, there wouldn't be so much power, greed, ... But still... I'm doubting this really is the problem! I think the biggest problem is Kapitalism! There's to much commercial communication towards the people, so they want more luxury, they want more... So I'd say, ban publicity! And no-one would NEED all these stupid luxurious products! New technologies should be for free too I think!

How many billions of dollars does one person need? Most of us can live comfortably on 30K a year, is it necessary to pay CEO's hundreds of millions of dollars, and then give them tax breaks to keep it all, while front line workers get laid off so someone in Pakistan can do the job for 12 cents an hour?

Not only is it disgraceful, it should it be outlawed.

The real question is: Refused or INC?
Refused Party Program

You'd have to be a f00 to even think of comparing when Refused was infinitely superior.

The new [I]NC sucks, man. The old albums were quite good, especially A New Morning.

I googled "The source of all evil".

The first page: cited the head of the WB network (http://members.aol.com/lari35960/kellner.html), which wasn't even an option. The second hit said that rowing is the source of all evil. (http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/1991/) The third comes closest, talking about the shadowy figures that actually run the world. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/Columnists/Column/0,5673,784623,00.html) Or it could be the FreeMasons (http://www.freedomdomain.com/freemason.html) . I wanna be a freemason.

IMO, of course, this is the real evil:

Had to go with pregnant women. I figure that if women were never impregnated, then none of us would exist, ergo, no problems. Even if there were problems, we wouldn't know about them and wouldn't have any problem with these problems.

Never thought I'd ever be able to fit "problem" into a sentence three times.

Every single one of us is the cause of the world's problems. That is if we think any other person should live one way or another even when they do no harm to another in thier way of life. John Lennon had it right with the song Imagine. I'll take it even a few steps further and say Coservatism and Liberalism (he covered that under politics I believe)when it invokes an order of which a fellow human must live by, even when that person does no effect to another.

There is nothing "wrong" with the world, or humanity, except that it IS humanity. We're naturally spiteful, destructive, and distrusting. The supposed problems we try to understand form an integral part of who we are.

A couple of semicolons and you could have made it to five. ;)

One big problem is "economists" who treat the natural monetary population dynamics that they study, laws of nature, as if they were laws handed down by God Almighty. Imagine if any other scientists, such as epidemiologists or cancer researchers, acted like "that's what nature does, so we should leave it alone - nature works best when we don't interfere". Ridiculous! Science and technology exist to tame nature, not to worship it as the solution to the problems it causes.

But "economists", conservative "economists", will tell you that the market works "best" when there are no regulations to govern its natural course. Well I guess it works for the upper levels of society, but if you've lost your job to someone in Mumbai, you might not agree.
