Jeffrey Dahmer is currently at the top of my list. No matter how much you may hate Ike, he never killed boys and then ate them.

I think a lot of you people have screwy priorities. Those who have actually killed and maimed people, knowingly and with their own hands, seem much more cruel to me than some politician who had views I don't agree with. That said, my vote goes to wife- and husband- beaters and child abusers.

I don't feel qualified to answer this question. I don't KNOW every American that ever lived! Oh, lord, what shall I do?!
I'll say Robert Jordan: an author who needlessly strings his readers along, novel after novel with little to no plot or character progression, only to strip the poor Wheel of Time faithful of more and more of their money and sanity. I know people still suffering from this crippling addiction, that feeds off of them and robs them of their free time as they finish the 11 or so books and then, shockingly, BEGIN AGAIN. It simply must be stopped! DAMNED PARASITE, JORDAN!

For those who asked, "Why Eisenhower?" I can answer your question with just two words:

Operation Keelhaul

Now the real problem here is defining "Cruel". Any individual may have caused great suffering, but surely there are those who had much more cruel intentions, but were unable to carry out a policy that would cause the suffering they intended. Is cruelty something you can really measure, as it is inside someone's head, and we are none of us mind readers.

I don't even consider Kissinger an American. Read Henry Kissinger: Soviet Agent by Frank Capell and see why.

I think we can take a holistic approach to this poll and other such polls we see in General forum (who is the hottest chick, who is the best NS poster, what is the worst country, etc.)... make up your own standards for cruelty and then decide who is the 'cruelest.'

The name doesn't ring a bell. Sounds like one hell of a sick b******, though.

Interesting thesis... I'm always a sucker for conspiracy theories. Can you tell me a little about what the book says?

Interesting that you call it a 'conspiracy theory' without even looking at it...

Tie
Donald Trump, for inflicting that hair on the world.
Al Gore, for putting America thru several weeks of unneeded suffering during his attempt to steal Florida in 2000.

Considering the Soviets are gone; even if he was one, he didn't do a good job!

What is wrong about calling it a conspiracy theory? Regardless of being true or false, Henry Kissinger being a Soviet agent would have the hallmarks of any classic conspiracy theory - it is a minority viewpoint, if proven it would threaten the powers that be, and implies that the powers that be are conspiring to edit the truth. I myself subscribe to many conspiracy theories... I think that a clique of bankers is basically in control of the world through their political and financial manipulations. Also the conspiracy theories that flight 93 was shot down over Pennsylvania on 9/11 is pretty compelling, and I'm fairly certain that FDR had prior knowledge about Pearl Harbor.

Sorry if my question sounded rude. It's just that, most of the time when people call me a 'conspiracy theorist' they're deliberately mocking or insulting me. And since I can't see your expression or hear your tone over the computer, I didn't know if you meant for it to be offensive or inoffensive. For that, you have my sincerest apologies.

Your current president. Besides being a mass slaughterer he also must be held accuntable for intellectual cruelty. I have not seen any politician in recent times saying so little with so many words.
