Cheney Quote

Okay, so while I was in the Student Union on campus today, I saw a Cheney quote on one of the screens they flash news across...

I don't remember it word for word, but in effect, it said "America risks another terrorist attack if voters make the wrong decision on election day."

...eh...I don't think the POTUS has much effect on whether or not we'll be attacked...Republicans on this forum have already pointed out that 9-11-01 would've happened to Gore too (and I don't think anyone has denied this)...

Yeah, that is stupid. Like the fundamentalists over there are going to hate us less if we elect a different president? I don't think so.

He was probably trying to say something like "Kerry's policy on terror is too lax" and therefore we're all gone die!!11

Such a blantant attempt to exploit peoples' fear and paranoia. It's disgraceful how Bush is milking 9/11.

I heard somewhere that a moajority of Americans when asked about their opinions on various issues, tended to argree more with Kerry than Bush. Several of them were still vote for Bush though.

Because a majority of Americans also believe Bush is better when it comes to national security (of course...Kerry hasn't had his hand at it really yet). Should we just assume Bush is a better president than Kerry because Bush is president? That's some faulty logic.

By the way, I just wanted to add this comparison...

Arkansas Razorback Quarterback senior Matt Jones is ranked #1 QB in the nation (for college). He is also statistically the best rushing QB. If you looked at the statistics, Matt Jones probably is down below #30 or #40 as far as passing goes. If you don't understand how that compares to US national politics, let me know and I'll explain better.

i think the events of four years ago have proven that no matter which way you vote, something bad happens

i am more interested as to why america and now austraila do not have a 'left wing' party anymore

just a centralist right leaning libral and a ultra conservative fundamentalist right

seems kinda dangerous to me

anyone who has read Jennifer government will notice where this seems to be going

Ah well it seems i am going to end up living in france in the next ten years

Ah, the new slogans are up. Bush-Cheney '04 - "Vote for me, or you're all gonna die."

Gotta love democracy.
