Why Bush?

From the "Why Kerry?" thread:Here's a question for the liberals: why do you support John Kerry? What will he do that qualifies him for the Office of President of the United States? After this post, I do not want to see anyone using the words Bush, Badnarik, Dubya, Nader, Cheney, Halliburton, Vietnam, or Voltron.
Here's a question for the conservatives: why do you support Bush? What has he done that you think qualifies him for the office of POTUS? In how many more ways can he mess up the country and alienate foreign governments? How many more nations might he be planning to invade (and, since he doesn't have to worry about being running for re-election, what's to stop him from invading them) and what questionable intelligence might he use to justify it?

Anyone notice that this thread has gone unnoticed? The Republicans think the Democrats have to answer this question about Kerry, but they never step up and answer it themselves about Bush.
That's because their whole campaign is Anti-Kerry. So much so that they've even convinced a lot of Democrats that Kerry is a piece of shit...just not as bad as Bush.
The Republicans' only hope is to suppress voter turnout by making people think there's no use in voting. This is why they don't care very much that they look like dirtbags. They know they're gonna get their base. If they can drag Kerry down to their level, then they win.

Well actually they both are a big steaming pile of terds, you didn't notice? You really think one gives a fuck about you, or the other gives a fuck about me? In politics both sides will bend over backwards and then bend thier own mother over backwards just to get you to vote for them. They both try to walk the mainstream line until they get into office. Then the true colors bleed through. Its amazing that there really isn't more Republicans and Democrats that see they are being used like an old tampon. Almost like we enjoy having our arms twisted to have to choose between two yugo's, when in a country like this we should be choosing between two cherry 57 chevy's.
Praise your Country and then bash your fellow American in the name of a cheap ass whore= politics.

True dat. It's sad though that they are seen as more moral than the other parties just because of the Religious Right and all that. Which they aren't. Both parties will do whatever it takes to get their candidate in office. It just seems that the Democrats are doing a lot less, because they seem to be using the same playbook from 2000. Which didn't help them then.
Oh and it seems the Democrats can't keep their party together as good as the Republicans. Which is prolly due to them picking weak presidential candidates. They can't keep their coalition of dispirited liberals, moderates, and conservatives together. While the Republicans can easily keep their coalition between conservatives, the extremist right, and the Religious Right together.
Plus both are overly partisan. Proof is taken from the constant investigations from the Republican-controlled Congress in Clinton's second term. They'd undoubtedly do it again, and the Democrat might even do the same (Though I hope I'm wrong on this one). It's a shame really. I'll end up voting for Nader since Kerry has like almost no chance of winning my state anyway.
