I saw a commercial on Nickelodeon concerning elections one day, and it is nothing but propaganda - it educated kids about democracy, monarchy, theocracy, and military dictatorships, yet it fails to mention anarchy.

While I'm not an anarchist, it is funny how they do decide to exclude it. Oh, and the US is not a *true* democracy (they fail to mention our democracy being founded upon the basis of a republic)

One mustn't presume that just because someone is instructing that they are also well-informed. Many American school systems fail to make a distinction between a democracy and a republic (despite the fact that the Pledge of Alliegance, recited daily, is to "...the republic for which it stands..."). Also, I had to learn about theocracies on my own. I loved history and social studies, and the first time I ever heard of a theocracy was when I started playing Civilization late in high school.

As to the anarchy thing... it's really more of a pipe dream than a feasible means of governance in the modern world. I'm sure Letila will argue that point, but anyway...
