What you mean like if people were so easily led into carrying out acts of senseless carnage in skyscrapers that they would do so on the basis of a couple of quiet words here and there and a couple of parlour magic tricks?

Kinda like the idea of atheism; What if God doesn't exist! Think of all the pro-active things we could be doing with our lives, such as focusing on increasing our lifespans, improving our livelihoods (especially for the poor, which I concede was a Christian idea first), and generally striving to build up the human race and think on that level and scale.

Like God wants us to evolve into something more like him? Perhaps this is the way that God reproduces?

Well, perhaps it isn't despite being a Muslim.. Most religions, if interpretted liberally (are you one of those who claim that the quran (sp) can't be interpretted?), tend to say we should relieve suffering on earth and try to make the most out of our lives. Heck, it usually doesn't even take much in the means of liberal interpretation. Communists are basically just people who thought Jesus had some good ideas but wanted to take God out of the picture... (of course, then they botched it up when they thought they had an obligation to spread it across the world, and that they could achieve their goals using any means necessary).

What if we don't give a flying fuck about what you think, and in doing so (denying your existence) suddenly flatulate you right out of the cosmos?
