i think england are certain to get to germany since we should thrash our close neighbours wales and northern ireland. i always like the republic of ireland to get through though since they're great to watch.
as for the actual tournament, once the english dismally fail, i'd a team outside europe or south america to win for once. go cote d'ivore!!

Ok mine is Costa rica but they'll probably get knocked out before RoI. Brazil I suppose.

Well the way they played in Euro 2004, I think its well deserved. Come on, they lost to GREECE!!!! Hell in the olympics, they lost to Iraq AND Costa Rica and DID NOT qualify for the quarterfinals.

I know Olympic Soccer doen't count here but I was just giving an example!

Probably steming from a miraculous world cup appearence in 2002 where we finished 8th overall. Not bad! I believe we lost to Germany in Elite 8 hence why we finished 8th.

That is just my theory! The fact that we dropped 2 spots in 2 years DOES NOT surprise me to say the least.

This is of course my theory on the issue.
