I was at the Michigan vs. Ohio State 2002 game. That game holds the record for largest attendance at Ohio STate. It wasn't a good game. Ohio State clinched the Big Ten. Navarre almost came back in the 4th, but threw a pick with 40 seconds left and a 30 yards to a TD.

OK, they won't go to Miami this year, but they will clinch the Big Ten at Columbus on Saturday and get an almost as good trip to Pasadena for another Rose Bowl.

Where Cal will destroy them.
I will love watching the Golden Bears get killed by U of M. I hate Cal as my family is filled with Stanford grads.

My Dad even has a CD of all these Stanford and anti-Cal songs.

"The dirty golden bear, is losing all his hair.
His teeth are out he's got a gout He knows not what it's all about
His eyes are made of glass. He's losing all his class
So take your dirty golden bear and shove him up your ***.

Since Michigan doesn't have an ice cube's chance in hell of getting to Miami, what is the general consensus for who's going to the national championship game? It continues to look like USC vs. Oklahoma, which I'm sure will anger half the state of Alabama and the entire state of Utah.

C'mon, Utah does not deserve to go. They're Utah for God's sake.

Sports Illustrated is picking OU vs. USC...and I tend to agree. Hopefully Auburn will lose so things will work out.

The Big East needs to lose their automatic bid.

No, Utah and Boise State are arrogant if they think they deserve to be in the championship game. With the kind of cupcake schedule those teams both play, half the teams in Division I-A could go undefeated. Now, what Auburn has done in the powerhouse SEC is vastly more impressive.

I think the Big East ought to keep their automatic bid, because it's not their fault that Miami and BC jumped ship so suddenly. If they can't get their level of competition back up in 4 or 5 years, then we can talk about pulling the auto bid.

Alright...I'll give them a few years to turn things around since Miami and VT have left...and BC next year...

Yeah, I was agreeing with you on your first point. I'm from New England, we use that double negative agreement improper English stuff.

Oops, forgot about Virginia Tech. I like how all the naysayers were going on about how VT would get demolished in the ACC, and they're in line to win the conference title.

Ah, I'll keep that in mind. So do you root for BC?

I really didn't have much hope, either. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year. Three ACC games to go. I just hope we don't overlook Maryland.

No. The Northeast is such a barren landscape for college football that I don't get too excited for it. I have to hate BC because of my school's hockey rivalry with them. I'm contractually obligated to root for the Sooners this season, but usually I find myself rooting for teams like USC and Cal, west coast teams, or non-powerhouse teams like Minnesota, South Carolina, Texas Tech, etc. And Notre Dame. I root for Notre Dame just because of the tradition.

Michigan Sucks! Go OSU!

Fight that team across the field,
Show them Ohio's here.
Set the earth reverberating with
a mighty cheer, Rah! Rah! Rah!
Hit them hard and see how they fall;
Never let that team get the ball.
Hail! Hail! The gang's all here,
So let's win that old conference now.

*couldn't resist*

Riots start here on Saturday! (mainly because we suck this year and we're going to lose)

Yeah, Wolverines will be celebrating at the Horseshoe this year. I guess that OSU will be in deep shit with the Clarrett allegations and all. Tressle will be gone.

Ug...I hate...no, I despise Notre Dame...and the west coast. But I suppose it's fitting that we don't agree. Maybe you'll pick up the burnt orange and Chicago maroon before the year's out.

Didn't New Hamp beat a I-A school this year? Miss State perhaps?

Maine beat Mississippi State, not New Hampshire. We're 8-2, but as far as I know we haven't beaten a I-A team.

I only root for Oklahoma because I'm obligated to. I have no particular love for them. I don't really care for VT one way or another either.

Clarett's allegations are a bunch of shit. He broke the rules and now he's sore that he's being punished. He cooks up new stories all the time. Tressel will be here for a long time to come.

Really? Damn...I guess I should've known that, as I'm originally from Maine...why are you obligated to root for OU? Dammit, Tech is great, you should root for them. If for no other reason, we own miami. Grain is setting in....
