It depends. Whenever a new game of it comes out, it tends to revive the fad. And since two games of it will be coming out in a few days...

Yes... But I think the whole game series went downt he crapper after blue/red. It's so boring now, just new pokemon. Nothing exciting....
The first few games were great, but the show didn't do the concept of anime justice and the card game seemed too consumerist, which is probably because it was.
