You probably heard of the hostage crisis in Beslam, Russia: http://www.themoscowtimes.com/stories/2004/09/03/001.html Some of the hostage takers were Chechnyan. Their target was a school. Eventually about 79 people died, including Russian soldiers, the hostage takers, parents and children.
What does it say about Russian operations in Chechnya once Chechnyans start to target Russian children and civilians? Bare in mind Russia has invaded Chechnya in '94 and has been sending soldiers to kill of Chechnyan people since then.
