A TEST OF YOUR MORALITY AND ETHICS

With all your honor and dignity - what would you do? This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, but yet spontaneous.

You're in Florida. In Miami, to be exact. There is a huge chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and all the flooding. There are huge masses of water all around you.

So, you are a CNN photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water masses. Nature is showing all its destructive power and is ripping everything away with it. Suddenly you see a man, steering a big van. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud.

You move closer...
Somehow the man looks familiar and important.

Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever... you have two options. You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life.

So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer-prize winning photo. A photo displaying the death of a very powerful man.

And here's the question:

Are you ready:

Will you make the photo black & white, or color?

I'm sure I will ... but that's because the Bush Army has no sense of humor.

I bet even GWB himself would get a giggle out of it.

Ooh ... I guess I could email it to him! Wouldn't get past his screeners, but hey ... worth a shot.

A color pic would sell for more money and would probably get more play worldwide, so I'd have to go with color. :D

Sorry people you've got to go with the black and white, as said before it creates a more dramatic effect although with colour it will definitely show all the details clearly. It's a dilemna that well all have to face.

I'd say colour. Black and white would look spectacular, but colour would be able to catch the true form of the devil coming out of his broken body.

Thats a remake of the old 'If you saw a lawyer and a politician drowning and you could only save one, would you go to the movies or have a cup of coffee?' joke (and several other variations.

Actually I WOULD save him. And then use that bit of personal history to establish myself as a figurehead and revolutionize the gubernal system...

I would snap the picture, then lung forward to his rescue. I get an award for the photo, and for saving the president.

If you wanted to go down in history you would have to save him. If you wanted to make a mark on history without it being related to you let him die. Could any of you live with the guilt of letting a man who is ignorant and not evil, die?

Bah, you've all missed the simplest answer, and the one professionals are flocking to nowadays....

Go digital. Then you can desaturate and adjust contrast if you want it black and white. Sell to different markets depending on what they print in.
