Well lets all admite that Christians hate Muslims, and Muslims hate Christians. Its a known fact. I recently picked up a pamphlat on Islam. It preached about getting rid of the infidel, theres even verses in the Quran that encourage killing those not Muslims. Recently a christian was tooken hostage for drinking out of a Muslim foutian. He was tortured, and told that he had to renouce his faith in God, and become a Muslim. Looks like things are really heating up. Global Jihad is no longer a quiet thing, but mainstream, and because everyone doesn't like the idea of birth right, because of Hitler, no one wants to defend themselves except the Serbs. If this heats up anymore there might just be a counter-crusade for Cristianity against Muslims. I hope if it does happen, that we won't let something like the Pope get in our way. Since faith in him is dividing Christianity(Ireland/England are a great example).

Well done, you spat in my face with your pathetic lies about Muslims.

Why don't you talk to a REAL Muslim, and get your facts straight?

(oh, and I advise against saying fake versus of the Koran. I seriously doubt you read such verses with your own eyes)

Heres the story, and the part of the Quran I was talking about.

Nineteen year old Chriatian univerity student Javed Anjum lived in Quetta-a city in Western Pakistan close to the Afghan border. He was the victim of a savage attack at a “madrassa” (Islamic school) in Tarandi Village, last spring. Javed disappeared April 17th, as he traveled to his grandfather’s home. His family says he stopped to drink some water from the tap of the Jamia Hassab Bin Murtzaz Islamic School. Radical Muslims often prohibit Christians and other non-Muslims from drinking from their wells and taps, because they believe the lips of nonbelievers contaminate their water. Javed was no exception. He was dragged into the madrassa where he was brutally beaten and tortured for five days. Javed told a VOM representative that when his tormenters learned he was a Christian, they demanded he convert to Islam. He was subjected to severe torture when he refused to deny Christ. He said he received electric shocks, and his torturers attempted to pull his ears and fingernails off with a pair of pliers. He said his feet were stabbed with a sharp ice pic, and his right arm and fingers were broken by the beatings. His back and lower abdomen were beaten with an iron rod, and he suffered internal injuries to his kidneys and bladder as a result.

Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and le in wait for them in every ambush… The Quran, Surah 9:5

We learned about Islam in social studies.

Muhammed called Christians, Jews, and Muslims all "People of the Book" because they all believe in God and have somewhat similar beliefs, and he said that they are acceptable. It's only the Islamic extremists that have something against Christians, I know a couple of Muslim people and they're just like any Christian I know.

Ferrget is right in saying:

"Muhammed called Christians, Jews, and Muslims all "People of the Book" because they all believe in God and have somewhat similar beliefs, and he said that they are acceptable. It's only the Islamic extremists that have something against Christians, I know a couple of Muslim people and they're just like any Christian I know."

I say we kill or imprison all fundementalists and that should do away with the problem.

Then we just have to deal with ourselves, because we will then be just as bad as them. The only way to win would be to fight as dirty as the fundementalists and I would rather my soul find peace in whatever afterlife there is without that sort of blood on my hands.

To quote someone far wiser then myself, and also someone whose name escapes me: To fight against hell, one must look into the abyss. When one stares into the abyss, the abyss stares back into their soul.

Ya, so in conclusion I say we are screwed either way we choose.

They need to take a shower?

Yes because its hot in the desert and it makes you sweat so they smell and that makes them dirty. So we should give them showers in pig blood then feed them beans and bacon soup, then laugh at them.

Wouldn't want to sleep next to them after that. Phew.

I don't think that the blood would do a proper job in cleaning though, have you ever gotten it on your hands?

Well, to be fair, the first one did, the rest didn't.

Actually, if you want to be really technical, the second worked, and the rest didn't. The children's Crusade was either a tragedy or farce depending on how you looked at it. Oddly enough, that isn't so different from most other historical events involving religious extremism. . .

#1, its radical muslims doing this, no normal muslim would ever do such a thing.
#2 Jesus Christ is already part of the Muslim Religion
#3 These are just terrorists, like those during 9/11.

that just means kill the pagans if they don't convert. Judiasm and Christainity were allowed to continue when the muslims started conquering areas.

Religion is just screwed up.

Not like most people who pratice a "book" religion actually follow said book anyway. Do most Christians follow the dietary guidelines in the Old Testament? Nyet. I'd be willing to bet it's the same with the others.

Out of all the religious/ethnic/belief groups I've ever met, Muslims are the friendliest.

Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and le in wait for them in every ambush… The Quran, Surah 9:5

Where did you get your copy and who transalted it? You have to be careful with that because many are badly translated.

The copy I got from a Muslim who wishes to be a Cleric. He says to fully understand it, you have to learn Arabic. But the copy I have is pretty close.

Sura IX is about Tauba (Repentence) or Baraat (Immunity).

The verse you quoted in mine says:

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and lay Pagans wherever ye find them. And sieze them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Bascially, pagans get the brunt of it. Practicing Religions are allowed. How else would Jews, Christians, and Orthidox have survived in Jeruselem(well the Jews were kicked out) under Islamic rule. When it was conquered, the Christians were asked to join, they did not and they were told as long as they obeyed the laws, paid the tax(as all other Muslims) they would be left alone.

Even then consider the 6th verse.

If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allh; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowlege.

If a Muslim invites you into his home, he is duty bound to protect you no matter what you belive.

Now the 4th verse:

(But the treaties are) not dissolved with those Pagans with whom ye have entered into alliance and who have subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfil your engagements with them to the end of their term; for Allah loveth the righteous.

Not exactly the violent killers you imply.

Finally, read the whole verse not just pick lines. You also have to read before and after as it paints different meanings.
