i wish i still had a block schedule. it was sooooo much better. u had more time in the core classes. *sigh* and i miss that school so much. it was a magnet school. and then i moved here. im still in junior high, but 9th grade. i have to go to the high school for first period. and im freakin' bored in most of my classes

1st: (at high school) Advanced Algebra 2
2nd: (at junior high) Pre-AP English
3rd: EITE (pre-engineering), probably one of the more "fun" classes that i have, if u could call any of my classes "fun"
4th: Health (urg....)
5th: Pre-AP Arkansas History (bleep)
6th: Ap Biology (fun, but still kinda boring cause i know most of the stuff from magnet school in texas)
7th: Library Aide (the easiest class ever)

and i cant take latin at the junior high or the high school here cause they dont offer it. i cant take orchestra cause they dont offer it. im feeling a little deprived of a learning experience.

i get up every morning, go to cross country at the junior high, change, to the high school for first period, back to the junior high for the rest of the day. on fridays i have a studio class (my violin teacher is a university professor and she invited me to her classes for all of her students) which starts about the same time that i get out of school. so i rush to the next town over (only about 15 or 20 minutes). on mondays, ill have youth symphony rehearsals. on thursdays i have private violin lessons. im suppose to practice an hour everyday. and im also supposed to practice for cross country most evenings. hah, like thats gonna happen.

oh, and i love to do homework. hows that for a hectic schedule?

Pre-AP is I guess what you guys call honors.
It isn't a regular class, but isn't an AP class.
Your grades are weighted heavier in that class than a regular class, but not as much as an AP, because it is supposed to be simpler. I'm love AP history classes, and I couldn't imagine what Pre-AP, or even regular classes do in their time.

well, pre-ap classes are exactly that, pre advanced placement. though i prefer block scheduling, i moved to a small town, so i am now stuck with rather short class periods which i take up most of in english presenting my projects that arent due until october :D go ahead, call me an over-achiever. although pre-ap classes are similar to honors, and perhaps the same, i prefer magnet classes over all! they're more advanced than regular and pre-ap. it was the first place that i actually felt challenged, and its gonna be really hard to follow that anywhere except the magnet high school in the same town to which all of my friends still there go to now and have informed me its like hell. well, fyi, its like hell here. im so bored in class, i could probably read all day through my classes and still pass with an A. is that sad or what?
