Tomorrow it'll be 4 DAYS!

I found out my class schedule, locker stuff, books and junk...and good God, I never wanted to go to any day of school as much as this. Of course, this will all die after about 2 hours of school, but hey, I'M HYPER!

I just walked up to the school today to change my lunch period to accounting and see where all my classes were.

But anyway, let me tell 'ya, high school is a LOT better than jr. high. Better teachers, better classes, and your peers have become more mature over night.

Good luck with Freshman Friday, too.

Meh, I've been attending high school since 9 August. It's nothing to get all excited about. Even less so since I have 90 minute classes, four of them, to be exact, and one one hour long lunch. Oh, and don't believe that urban legend bullshit about seniors, juniors and sophmores mistreating freshman. To put it simply, they just don't give a shit and neither do I they.

It'll wear off.

I go back to school on Sept. 7... I start semester 4 of 6. I hate school so much... I want to be finished this blasted BS already!

Yeah. So it all comes out to 7 hours. Which sounds about right, since class starts at 7:20AM (I have to wake up at 6:20 (And I don't even have time to eat breakfast), and leave home to catch the bus at 6:40 (The bus gets there at 6:50), which drops me off at CeHS at 7:10) and ends at 2:20PM (I don't get home until 2:45PM).

Oh. I have to wake up at 6:15, classes start at 8:00 something (Yes, my bus ride is that long), and our school ends at..2:30, not home normally until 3:10 unless I'm doing an after school activity, which I normally am, then 6:00

My earliest class is 12:30

In college, you go to lunch before you go to school xD

You may want to go to my school, but I doubt you want to live near the hell-hole that is Phoenix, Arizona. And no, I don't live IN Phoenix, I just live an hour (Phoenix is the Capitol of Arizona, after all, so heavy traffic is to be expected) away from it.

I started on Wednesday. I'm a junior, but it's still all pretty new, since I went to a military school the past 2 years. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like, even in high school (this one at least), they try to excercise a HUGE amount of control over you while you're there. I guess it's because, unlike at my other school, they have no say whatsoever in what you do after school. For instance, I went to the library to study today during lunch, and I had to sign in and stay the whole period. I dunno, maybe this is normal, but I was shocked, to say the least. They also don't let you have free periods if you don't need all the credits. And after school it's the opposite: I'm used to having a mandatory study hall every school night, but here it's 11:40 and I still haven't touched my books.

Wow that text is annoying...anyway...

I figured the whole mistreatment of new kids in 8th grade, when we had the chance to mistreat the 7th graders. The only thing we did to them was call em a name I cannot utter in NS for the whole first day of school, and then push them around in the crowded hallways we share with them in the first couple weeks of school. Then we just let em go. They probably lived on the tradition...

I rather like the font. Ah well. Even at our elementary school, we did not mistreat the 7th graders, or anyone below us, for that matter. It's kind of shocking, growing up, and all of your life being afraid of the big kids, and then, once you're in their shoes, you realise how pathetic being afraid of them was. It's an interesting feeling, really, and almost gratifying.

I go back Sept. 7th.

My students go back Sept. 13th.

High school is awesome -- that's why I decided to stay there forever. ;)

LOL I loved college though -- all except my second term, when I got the stupid ass idea to go to school on Tuesday and Thursday only, and have the rest of the week off.

I was there from 7:10a to 6pm. :-p

Oh yes, I'm just elated. Junior year, starting 9/8. Here's to waking up at 6:30 every morning, wasting 6 hours every day "learning" with my mentally challenged "peers", eating cafeteria tripe, coming home burned out and pissed off then wasting another two hours crunching meaningless numbers for the next 10 months! Huzzah!

Angst? More like commentary on the piss-poor state of our education system here in 'merica. Or maybe it's angst.

I start senior year the 8th, hopefully I won't fuck up all that much.
