Mothman
What do you think of the Mothman mystery? True? Just a hoax by a small town that wanted to create a sensation that might make their town into a touristspot? Or maybe the Bushes were behind it to create a smokescreen for something too hideous to ever be known by the cattle that is known as "we, the people"?

my friend lived in west virginia where the mothman is and he said its real. apparently alot of people take it very seriously there. as far as bigfoot goes, i believe it is a relic of our ancestral memory of gigantopithecus, a huge hominid that coexisted with our homo erectus ancestors in the time that there were many species of hominids around.

I've got a copy of American Indian Myths and Legends, ed. Richard Erdos and Alfonso Ortiz, here. In one of its collected tales it tells of how there were at one time, in North America, three types of people: the red people, who were very fast and athletic, the hairy people, who were very stroing and shy, and the white people, who were very cunning and inventive.
As the white people pushed the red people farther and farther back the hairy people fled and hid even farther until they could only live in what wooded places were left in between. And that's the story, according to this book.

It might be an angel or a demon. A demon most likely from the reports, but just because it's a messenger of doom doesn't mean it could be evil. It seemed to have bad effects on that guy from the movie. If ask a demon a question it will mess up your mind.
