Congratulations everyone, today is the 59th anniversary of the end of the Second Great War. On September 2nd, 1945, the delegation from Japan signed the surrender instrument on the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, bringing an end to the most destructive war in human history.

Yesterday was the 64th anniversary of the invasion of Poland, and tommorow will be the 64th Anniversary of the beginning of the Second World War in Europe.
