Who do you think will win the Australian election?

Who do you believe will win, ALP or Coalition. I'm not asking who you'll vote for, or who you want to win, just: who do you think is more likely to win?

I think it will be very very close. But I think Labor will just do it.
Main reason - the PM lies a lot (yes more than most politicians)
People will balance this against the good economy and stability and once labor releases its tax policy, they will decide that ultimately the coalition has had its time.
It will all depend on what Latham does with the timing of his policies as to whether he wins or loses.

Latham has policies? the only thing I have heard him talk about happened four years ago before the last election.

I think that Howard and Coalition will be elected by the narrowest of margins. Soon after, the Libs will let Howard go and, depending on what happens between now and then, we may get Costello as PM or someone else (PLEASE not Tony Abbot. That guy scares me.)
I'd like the ALP to pull off a win, but it doesn't seem very likely, unfortunately. Then again, a lot can happen in the six weeks between now and the election day.
It will be close, but if the libs get in, i cannot be held responsible for what I might do.
(TO ASIO agent reading this, i'm joking. Honestly sir. Please dont put me in that room and show me the phonebook again)

Hah! That was great. You, Kanabia, are a funny, funny person. :D
I wouldn't worry about ASIO, though. They'd all be down at the pub. It's after 5 PM, you know.

Only three people voted? There must be more around than that. Or do most people think it's too close to call? Perhaps I should have made that an option... But even then, I still think that people can make a call...

I think the Coalition will win because ultimately people don't care about the smokescreens and crap that have been flying about lately.
The Liberal Party has done a good job in running a secure and well governed nation and come October 9th we will see them returned to government based on that.

Though you're right. And it's not like they need to get up early either, lol.
