How NOT to get elected....

If you are a Republican... insulting the VP's family is probably NOT the smartest way to go about things....
Illinois Republican Senate candidate Alan Keyes labeled homosexuality "selfish hedonism" and said Vice President Dick Cheney 's lesbian daughter is a sinner
After saying homosexuality is "selfish hedonism," Keyes was asked if that made Mary Cheney "a selfish hedonist."
"Of course she is," Keyes replied. "That goes by definition."

Yep, that settles it. If I can get registered to vote in Illinois, I'm definitely voting for Obama.
Think the U.S. is imperialist? More like a little cottage in the North Pole...today America, tomorrow the world!

Alan Keyes is not even worthy of an insult.
Ever hear him talk? When he gets on a ramble he starts immulating MLK.
Obama will kick his butt back to where ever he calls home.
Speaking of such, I heard the two in an interview. Keyes was questioned about bashing Hilery for moving to New York to be a Senetor and he gave many reasons why it was wrong. The interviewer said aren't you doing the same thing and he said NO. "I was asked to move here and run for office"

maybe this is some new strategy designed to drive a wedge between our rather moderate suburban republicans and the party hardliners and wacky fundamentalists. keyes as a deep-cover political operative. the only remaining question is who is he working for?

If you are watching the RNC, it seems clear that the strategy is to pretend that that the party hardline of wacky fundamentalists doesn't even exist....
So far nobody who has spoken - except Mrs. Bush - have been people that support much of the President's platform except the War on Democrats. Say what you want about the DNC, but at least they put out a diverse set of viewpoints indicitive of the full spectrum of the party by giving time to Obama, Kuscinich, and Sharpton alongside Clinton, Carter, and the like.
The idea that this unending parade of liberal- to moderate-Republicans such as Arnie, Rudi, and McCain really represents what this administration looks like (and rules like) is fatuous.
