I think we should stop capitalising the names of evil dictators like Hitler. Kind of a final disgrace.

if you truly believe in anti-semitism, hitler was probably a hero for you
(see, i dont normally capatalize anything. not political, i just know that my message is understood without the need of utilizing the shift key ;))
Seems rather silly to me. It isn't like Hitler is watching us from the afterlife, and will be crushed that we no longer capitalize his name. It would be something akin to decapitating a corpse - they're dead, nothing you can do will hurt them; the act can only degrade you.
In fact, by giving special attention to them, you are just further promoting how much impact they still have on your life. That would strike me as a victory for Hitler, not a disgrace.

It's just habit to capitalize names. I don't see why we should do anything different. It doesn't matter, they're just names.

Hitler is still important even if he was an evil person (not that i would personally ever use such subjective terms as evil anyway.)
