Where are all the fun "Help me with my homework" threads? We should allow those type threads take over this forum for a while and put the political/ethical debates take a rest for a while. I mean, after all, the political/ethical debates are the same thing over and over and nothing ever changes...so let's let the homework help threads run rampant!! (Let's try to limit to one super thread for each subject though, please...)
School hasn't started yet for everyone....

It has for a lot of people...in fact, some people are even done for the day. The real problem is that high schoolers get to slack around and not do much for like the first week or so.

maybe some people in China are back in school, but not many people in China have computers, and the ones that do use them for work, and even if they didn't the goverment most likely has banned this website.

WTF? If people want help with their homework they can go to a damm education site or something like that. This is the Nationstates Forum - a place where national leaders come to hang out. DUH!!!!!!!!

I think that Dragons Bay is living proof that this is not so.

I can most definitely help with US History...and if you need help with PhysEd, you are a dumbass for needing help and a dumbass for asking for help over NS...and I can write pretty well so if you need help with writing or proofing or whatever for Journalism or English.

Didn't you see those shots of Bush in his reading class? He does his own work.

As soon as a test starts encroaching, I’ll post some help me bla bla bla threads. Will that make you happy?

Sry, I forgot to remove PhysEd from my list - I just cut-and-pasted my schedule w/o editing it (but now I have)

We'll just start threads titled "Study Hall: Subject"
Where "Subject" is, as specifically as you can get it, the subject being discussed there, just don't make it too specific.
For instance
"Study Hall: Composition" is about as specific is that gets (unless it's not writing, and you need to specify music comp)
However
"Study Hall: US History" isn't very specific. For instance, if you want to talk to me about anything from say 1860ish to 1945ish, I know that part of US History well, but other stuff I don't. A better title would be: "Study Hall: US History - Civil War" or "Study Hall: US History - The Great Depression"
You guys think you get the idea?
i just graduated with my engineering degree in may...i dont envy you suckers that are still in school at all. :)

Oh yea...by the way...
My math professor didn't take up our homework and told us to redo it so that our mother could understand it. Should I leave my paper as it is and explain to him that my mother is about to finish up her Master Degree in Civil Engineering?
b.s. in general engineering from the university of illinois at urbana-champaign. GE is a comprehensive major with emphasis in control systems and a little more of an intro to the business side of things than other engineering majors. ours is the only program at UIUC that includes a senior design project where we spend our final semester working on an actual project with an actual budget for real companies. some groups in the past have ended up finding ways to save these companies several hundred thousand dollars. it's a great program.

Eh...at the University of Arkansas, there are tons of research projects in the Engineering department (for all majors) because we have a really good Engineering program, but GE sounds like it isn't as tough as any one specific Engr major...
i get that a lot. it really is a challenging curriculum and has given me a great background, but the title throws people off. all engineering majors here take virtually the same classes the first 2 years, as im sure is the norm elsewhere...physics (statics, e&m, and quantum/light), math (up to diff eq and matrix theory), and chem. when it gets to our 2 final years our classes deal more with structural theory, kinematics, mechanisms, thermo, fluids, control theory (classical and state space), systems optimization, quality control, and electrical theory. it was intense, thats for sure; i know now why we're ranked in the top 5 in the country every year.

All Engr curriculums are difficult. They're the most difficult majors out there really...but general engr just doesn't seem like it'd be as tough as getting nitty gritty into one major...

I wish I had gone on the computer before I went and finished all of my homework. But I guess it was easy anyway, so I wouldn't have needed anyone's help.
