i just think its funny that there are reports of over 250 000 people showing up to protest, some from other countries even...
not to mention 40 000 cops on patrol with M4's (i assume).

Yeah, there have been claims that 250,000 protestors will be there. I've heard that it's only reached the 10,000's so far.

I heard "over 100,000" for Sunday...I also think we should start calling it RepubliCon, cause it just works so damn well.

I was there, and I can tell you there were WAY more than 100,000 protestors... Around noon, when things were just picking up, cops on the street were getting estimates over the radio of over a quarter million -- and it filled up a lot more after that.
Someone said CNN gave an estimate of about a million... but I don't know if I would go that high. It's hard to say, being on the street. But based on experience elsewhere, I would agree with the cops that there were at least 250,000.
