Is it true that Intel is going to release its P4 4.0GHZ this year? I heard this rumor and was looking for confirmation.

I had heard that it would be Q4 2004....oh well...at least it is soon :)
Well, I'M running a 4.2 Gigahertz proc, if that counts for anything.
I've heard that too, but they could just release an OCed LGA775 EE, which runs Cold as Ice (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-116-187&depa=1) with a core voltage that low

I think the one coming out in Q4/04 or Q1/05 won't need a low Vcc to keep its power consumption within reason.
