Ash are a rock band from Northern Ireland. They could be called punk-pop, but they don't sound like the American bands like Offspring or Blink 182. They have some heavy songs and some songs that are pretty much pure pop. In any case, they're great. What appeals to me most about their music is that it is so youthful and energetic.

I've been obsessing over them recently. Burn Baby Burn is such a brilliant song! I'll recommend some songs and albums.

Although it's not exactly Gorguts, Ash songs like "Shark", "Burn Baby Burn" and "Pacific Palisades" are heavier than any Blink 182 song. On the other hand, songs like "Candy" or "Sometimes" are lighter. See, you get variety.
