ok, another extension of the cyborg thread.

This time, instead of some robot pereferie, or mental download, its a implantation into your brain.

Able to essentially do anything you want (basic theories on quantum consiousness say it could possibly enable psysic "powers"). We could have full control over our perceptive processes. Imagine the possibilites...

I could scrub my memory clean of the Beastiality debate, aand it would be less painful than the bleach and steel wool method that I may have to use if I ever want to ssleep again.

I dunno, the brain is a very complex thing. I'd be concerned for my psycholical health and well-being. If such impants malfunctioned, it could potentually cause some damage, for example. Or imagine if someone hacked your implants, and uploaded some very nasty mental images? ;-)
