I wondered about the meaning of life for years. So I looked it up in the dictionary one day, and there it was. The meaning of life. To be honest, I expected something more profound.

So I make up my own answer: The meaning of life is to find a nice comfy place to sleep, a fat-free cheesecake that tastes as good as a full-fat one and to learn how to launch water balloons accurately from a jockstrap pouch.

I've completed two out of three. :)

There you have it that is the universal meaning of life: To discover personal meaning.

I've solved it after all these years! And now after deciphering the Universe, it must now inevitably disappear for no one person can possess such power.

who said the meaning of life is to discover meaning?

i just said that everyone's life has its own meaning... if a person discovers the meaning of their life, it doesn't mean they'll fullfill it...

But in the scheme of things what is it's purpose? That's just accepting what it is is what it is.

The meaning of life: Sex (Or to put it more gently: procreation)
There are two concepts of life: bios, which is lives, like ours, that exist and then perish ("Life-forms, life-forms, all the little life-forms." - there's a quote for you). And zoe, which is the property of "life" that all living life-forms contribute to. Zoe is eternal.

In other words, life-forms come and go, but life goes on.

Procreation is a meaning applicable to zoe life, but us individual bios life-forms need a little more meaning to our life.

I think the meaning of life is to learn.
