*Bushs class warfare against working americans has caused an unprecedented increase in the misery index. Hes now doing to the nation what he did to Texas as Governor

36 Million Now in Poverty; 45 Million Uninsured
For the third year in a row the number of people living in poverty or without health care has increased. The official poverty rate rose from 12.1 to 12.5 percent and the number of people living in poverty increased by 1.3 million. There are now nearly 36 million living in poverty and 45 million without health insurance. Child poverty also increased, and women's income in relation to that of men dropped from 2002 to 2003.

Something alot of people don't know about those so called 45 million who are not insured. Alot of them have chosen the extra income instead of health insurance through their employment.

Something alot of people don't know about those so called 45 million who are not insured. Alot of them have chosen the extra income instead of health insurance through their employment.

There is also the case where someone doesn't have health insurance through their employer, can afford to buy their own, but doesn't because the costs outweigh the benefits. Some people have lost sight of the concept of insurance, when it comes to health care. Insurance is to defray possible future costs, not to guarantee free health care (or a free replacement car or home, in the case of those types of insurance).
