This is just a thread to provide relief for those of you exhausted from all the political bash threads.

Tough call, but I think I'll go for Big Bird because he's cooler. :p

I don't know, though. Barney has a lower center of gravity, and thus, would be more difficult to topple...

I took Barney's teeth, claws, tail and weight into consideration vs. Big Bird's beak, long legs, and the fact he'd be a little faster and more agile than Barney if he weren't on those damned strings.

If Big Bird used hit and run tactics, I think he would definately wear Barney down. I dun think he'd escape unscathed, though.

And I dunno any of those Gundam. :p

Like they say, the bigger they are the harder they fall. Barny could however use pychological tactics and make big bird think that he's his "friend" and say stuff like "i love you" just before he's ready to go in for the kill. Just my opinion.

Agreed. Big Bird may not fall for it. After all, he does teach education in his television show and is a very prominent actor, so he can't be that stupid.

On the topic of Gundam, do you think Zeon is supposed to be symbolic of Nazism?

Their battle cry is "Sieg Zeon" (reminiscent of Sieg Hiel) and in a couple of the UC Gundam series the antagonist is a tall blonde guy (Hitler's little belief of the ideal race being "tall, blond, and of Aryan descent")

Barney would kick Big Bird's butt because Big Bird would whine and hide behind Snuffy. Of course, since Snuffy has a permanent cold he's probably in no shape to defend Big Bird. Though Big Bird has some pretty mean friends there on Sesame Street and I figure Barney would eventually die via a drive-by shooting. Think about it, you really want to mess with a friend of Bert??
