*americas corporate-occupied media has been demonizing and censoring patriotic dissenters ever since Bush was appointed. During this week of dissent in NYC its crucial that our bloodthirsty media doesnt try to distort whats happening on the streets the way they distort the rest of our news on a daily basis--lives hang in the balance

In an open letter to journalists released yesterday, protest organizers urged the mainstream media to ensure fair, balanced and accurate coverage of the demonstrations at the Republican Convention.
The letter reads "We are concerned by the slant of some of the media coverage that has focused on potential violence or made unsubstantiated and sensationalist claims about the activists who will be demonstrating..."

Along with the hundreds of thousands of protesters expected in New York, well over a thousand unembedded journalists will be working out of the New York Independent Media Center.

The IMC last week published 200,000 copies of a special edition of its newspaper the Indypendent. It features guides on everything from the schedule of protests to where people can stay as well as news and analysis of the election and presidency.

Yes... in order to protest how wrong it is for one to bias towards the right, you bias towards the left... err... okay then?

"Corporate-facist" media? I'm assuming you meant fascist, which makes no sense whatsoever... the media opposes fascism in it's entirety (well almost).

Other than that, I bet you had no problems whatsoever with focusing on violence when the media was showing violence being done to our enemies but when violence is given a preference in the media when YOU'RE side is the one committing the violence, ohhh nooo... can't do that....
