AHHHHHHHHHHHH If I see one more political topic then I am going to go INSANE!!! What happened to the fun topics, the happy fun, somewhat perverted topics? Why do they all get deleted now? Why? Why? I'm going crazy!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I dunno...I think politics could theoritically be thrown into your mix...

For example:

Who's hotter for an older chick, Laura Bush or Theresa Heinz-Kerry?

The happy and fun topics went away because the PATRIOT Act made having that sort of fun potentially terrorist activity and therefore any participant are liable for sanction and being thrown in jail with all the other detainees who have been refused all basic rights. Then Jeb Bush will never let you vote again because you're a convicted felon.

Actually, in the last week or two, it's started getting better. But I agree. We need less politics/religion and more fun! I wish word play was still legal... I LOVED "Word Association" back when it was around. Heck, I'm even getting kind of nostalgic for "Last Person To Post Here Wins". Gosh, I remember before the 65-page cap when it was totally pointless.

See. We need more stuff like this. This is political humor. Politics with fun mixed in. Not just a plain, boring, political debate that people write a whole page to express their point of view.

And threads that are started out as jokes or light debate turn into a republican V.S democrat argument after 1-4 posts

This is the general forum where the motto used to be something like “Because even leaders need to kick back.” I forget exactly what it used to say but it was somewhere along those lines. Now it just says “for discussion and debate about anything.”

If you don't want to see political topics and you want other kinds of topics, why not create them?

What's wrong with you? Maybe to some of us, the political topics are the fun topics. Perhaps instead of complaining about them, a better idea might be to petition the site administrators (or whoever is in charge) to set up different forums for different topics?
