Now, who hear has fond memories of Lemmings? (the old game where you had to lead the little blue and green pixle people to safety). I just think it was cool.

I really liked the game except that some levels were just way to big and if you didn't make it a couple of times it would get boring

Yes, I remember Lemmings. I still have Lemmings in fact. For the PC AND for the Mega Drive (That's a Genesis for our Yankee friends, I believe). I don't throw ANYTHING away.

ooh.. and thos stupid stopper dudes who are actually unable to start walking again and if you were to blow them up they make nasty holes in thin surfaces... how I hated that

Or climbers who cllimb all the way to the roof of the level and then don't have a parachute; dumbasses

Lemmings is a fun game, but I prefer Starflight and Starflight 2.

There was a level I could never get passed. Its in the bit where it starts repeating early easy levels, cept you have way less stuff to work with. I didn't get passed the one where the get droped right by the exit and you have to put a blocker in place to win the level, but you have no blockers.


erm, yeah.

I played it on the Genesis, back in the day. Good times. It's a disturbingly addictive little game.

Lemmings is one of the greatest (IMO) games to come out of the UK, along with the Wipeout series (also by Psygnosis) and the Grand Theft Auto series.
