Tetris isn't even an arcade game. Metal Slug or Pacman or something instead, I don't care, I don't consider Arcade a real genre anyway.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 147 (this time we've added a new trick!!!!!!!111!!). Please, stop milking this piece of crap. The engine hasn't actually changed since 3, which was the best.

Sports - Pro Evolution Soccer 3. Best sports game, bar none.

Turn-Based - Civ 3. Definately.

RTS - Starcraft > all.

God I'm a dumb-ass I forgot about Golden-Eye.
But have you played WH40K: Dawn of War? I have the beta and I find it extremely good to be honest. I like Starcraft too but Dawn of War has a lot of good, new ideas that make gameplay a little easier.

NO! Alpha Centauri was and remains superior to Civ III in every aspect except graphics, which are not so much of an issue in a turn-based strategy game. Please tell me someone else has played this game around here!

RPG shouldn't be included in the VGO as it normally takes quite a while to develop characters...anyway...

Leave your shitty CS FPSs out of the VGO. If you want to do an FPS, go with America's Army.

I will only agree to Civ3 if it's C3C.

Anyway, single player games should also be left out of the VGO. It's not really even remotely close to a sport if it isn't at least two players.
