A long while back, you couldn't ride the subway or use a phone booth without encountering one of those irritating little religious comic-books, or 'tracts', as their creator, Jack Chick, called 'em.

I recently found Jack's official website at:

And I found it actually contained every damn one of his 'tracts' as jpeg images. So...I grabbed as many as I could reasonably make use of- in putting together a parody 'tract', albeit with a Subgenius angle. You can read my mutated, Subgenius 'tract' here:

Anyway, when I first got started cutting and pasting my little comicbook, I tried finding any other parodies, but came up empty. Jack might be an old fart, but he's also litigious. I came across sites where people had gone to great lengths to explain why their Chick parodies were no longer posted due to legal hassles.

I figure I'm running the risk of having my own parody run offline by even mentioning it here, but who knows, maybe someone around here'd be altruistic enough to mirror the thing for me. Or maybe you'll all think it's yet another sign of my silliness. One way or another, enjoy.

But if you know of any other Chick parodies, lemme know where to go. Okay?
