Rather than bore you with constant updates, I suppose I might as well show you my what-15-came-before-what-is-playing-now (I paused it and then got really distracted) and what-15-will-come-next in a screenshot. Oh, and for a GIF of only 256 colours, it came out pretty well. Oh yeah, and that window is 1046X770 pixels. o.O I guess if I'm asked I'd have to change it to a link... o.O

What's so bad about rap? Back in the 80's hip-hop saved music. Without Rakim, N.W.A., Run DMC and those guys glam rock and the monster ballad may have stayed around longer then they did.

You're probably talking about the "rap" that you see on MTV. That's not rap, that's "hard core pop".

Sorry, wrong again. Opinions cannot be wrong or right. They can be malformed, but they cannot be right or wrong. "Sucks" in the sense used makes my statement that of an opinion. "You're wrong" is a counter for a factual statement, be it a true or false fact. Opinions cannot be wrong, and I do know what I'm talking about. I have listened to a huge amount of music, and I have formed my own tastes and opinions. Oh, and try not to resort to swearing, if you would. Oh, and Opal, it was presented as an opinion because of my choice of words. If I must reiterate, "Sucks" in the sense it was used (I.E. non-literally) is an opinion statement as much as "ugly" and "beautiful" are.

Oh no, opinons can be wrong. They're not wrong to the person who has that opinon - but they can be wrong. For instance, if you meet a person for the first time, you form an opinoin of them. Once you get to know that person you're opinion may have been totally wrong. But we're not talking about people, we're talking about music. Yeah, what you said maybe you're opinion but that doesn't mean I have to respect it or think it's correct. I can prove that other music doesn't suck by offering 1000's of reviews from acclaimed critics who all think that other genres don't suck. But critics can be wrong and so we're nowhere again. The point is, I think you're opinion is wrong.

Those aren't opinions so much as they are assumptions. Assumptions about behaviour, living habit, personal hygiene, etc., and as those aren't opinions, they CAN be incorrect. However, the cause for the assumptions are often misleading, not necessarily always with a good result at the end. An impression is not an opinion, because, with impressions, while you may think "Wow, that guy is ugly," you may also end up thinking "Geez, that guy is a stoner," which is a factual statement, versus the opinionated statement with "ugly" because you think that the person is actually doing drugs, which may as well be false. You don't have to respect my opinion. But you cannot prove an opinion false or correct. You can't PROVE that other music does not suck, because I might not take the opinion that they are good, and besides, why rely on critics? They often say things suck and things don't, yet the public thinks otherwise.

MY OPINION CANNOT BE WRONG, BECAUSE IT IS INHERENTLY IMPROVABLE.

Cradle of Filth... lots and lots of Cradle of Filth!
Midian is arguably the greatest Proggressive Black Metal album.
But of course all their albums are good.

I think that Vintersorg's "Focusing the Blur" is better, but that's my opinion.

Now Playing:
Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus

Coming soon:
Samael - Year Zero
The Smiths - Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me
Scorpions - Sails of Charon
Carcass - Keep on Rotting in the Free World
Buckethead - Hills of Eternity
Super Nintendo

As to what song I'm listening to... Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - "Menuetto: Allegretto"

Well, I see we've gotten nowhere. So let me rephrase my original statement. I THINK you're wrong; and let's leave it at that.

It was Greg's house show #1 I belive it was called. Thinking about it, I dont remeber them having a keyboardist. The show was in maryland, and I know you guys are all Virginia like, so that might explain it.

Do you know the Kitty Yum Yums? (kyy) If they had a crew, I'd be part of it.

Too hot - Prince Buster
Oh if it was that one around X-mas/New Years, that was the only show I blew off. Oh well. I've heard KYY, but I don't really know them...
